Selim

Selim is a masculine name of Arabic origin, serving as an emblem of solace and encouragement. Originating as Salīm, Selim means "safe," “intact,” or "undamaged" and is closely related to Saleem and Salem. Formed from the root salima, meaning "to be safe," Selim may appear as a caution against straying off the path. Yet, Selim holds within it the gift of protection.
