Titania is a girl’s name of Greek origin. In Ovid’s Metamorphoses, the daughters of Titans (a race of giants in Greek mythology) are known as Titanias. Today, however, the name is most commonly associated with Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where it’s used for the queen of the fairies.
