Tareq

Tareq is a boy's name of Arabic origin rooted in the verb taraqa, which means "to knock" or "to strike." Thanks to the Arabian Peninsula's hot climate, visitors are common at night once the blazing hot sun has set and so this name has come to mean "evening caller" or "night visitor."
