Lefa

Lefa is a girl’s name of Scandinavian origin. Cut from the same cloth as Leif and Leifr, it means “descendant” or “heir” and has many spin-offs to enlighten your little one about its legacy, like Lena, Leda, and Leya. While Lefa is probably most prominent in Scandinavian countries, it’s become famous in France for its ties to rapper Lefa, who founded the hip-hop group Sexion D’Assaut. South African soccer fans may also recognize the moniker from midfielder Lefa Tsutsulupa.
