Jaydey

Jaydey is a modern American name typically regarded as feminine, but would make a fitting gender-neutral moniker, too. It’s a variant of Jaydee and, phonetically, a combination of the initials J and D, giving it an almost nickname quality. Based on spelling, Jaydey likely has roots in the Spanish ijada—or jade in English—a precious stone often used in carvings. Jaydey’s meaning, however, is somewhat of a mystery.
