Nothing is more beautiful than a delicate flower. Well, not until your little one comes into your life! The word flora refers to plants of a region, but the Latin girl’s name Flora more specifically means “flower.” In Roman mythology, Flora is the name of the goddess of springtime. It is also the name of a ninth-century Spanish martyr-saint. Some people might name their baby after particular flowers, such as Rose, Daisy, Lily, and Poppy, but baby can’t be defined by just one with a personality as colorful and unique as a whole pretty bouquet.
