Elleanora

A chic name like Elleanora will never go out of fashion. Typically given to girls, Elleanora is a Latinate version of Eleanor. Although the origins aren’t entirely certain, there are many theories. Thought to be the first bearer of the moniker, Eleanor of Aquitaine was born Aenor, after her mom. But, she was called alia Aenor or “the other Aenor” to differentiate, resulting in the creation of Alienòr or Eleanor in French. It may also have German roots, coming from Aldenor, which means “old north.” Another possibility is that Eleanor is connected to the Arabic moniker Nurah, signifying “luminous” or “radiant.” Baby Elleanora may become a little trendsetter, taking inspiration from the original namesake. Whether they’re designing new titles or new garments, they’ll surely be admired by many.
