Elendil

Elendil is a lyrical name of English origin. It comes from JRR Tolkien's massive Middle Earth and can be translated—from one of the many languages Tolkien created—as "the elf-friend." If you anticipate your little tyke running through the meadows and forests searching for faeries and any other manner of fantastical creature, you might as well give them a name that'll get their foot in the door.
