Atreus

In Greek mythology, Atreus is the father of King Agamemnon and king of Mycenae. Agamemnon's story is irrevocably tied with the Trojan War and often drowns out Atreus' stamp on the mythos. However, for God of War lovers, this name is anything but insignificant. Atreus is the son of Kratos and throughout this journey released in 2018, the player witnesses Atreus' growth into a man, god, and soon-to-be giant. This brilliant boy is adept with languages and the beating heart of the world, taking on any challenge thrown his way. The name itself means "fearless" and we can hardly imagine it having any other definition than that!
