Antioco

Antioco is a boy’s name of Greek and Italian origin. Derived from Antiochus and the Greek elements anti and oche, this Italian version means “one who is opposed to something,” “against,” or “resistant,” which is sure to teach baby to always stick to their morals. Interestingly, Antioco could also have connections to the island of Sant'Antioco in Sardinia, or possibly the ancient city of Antioch, whose ruins now rest outside of Antakya, Turkey.
