High Risk Pregnancy With Multiples?
The fact of the matter is that you’re more at risk for complications compared with someone whose uterus is housing just one baby right now, including both delivering before Junior is fully cooked (aka having a preemie) and developing some pregnancy-related health issues yourself (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.). And the more babies you have on board, the higher the chance — albeit still a relatively small one — of something going wrong. So while it’s important to make sure you’re following all the healthy-pregnancy rules that you can (eat right, get lots of sleep, keep up those doctor’s appointments), don’t panic. It’s under control.
