Rapper Wiz Khalifa and Aimee Aguilar Welcome Baby Girl
Wiz Khalifa is officially a girl dad!
The Young, Wild & Free rapper and his girlfriend Aimee Aguilar welcomed their daughter on July 16. Khalifa and Aguilar have yet to post photos or share details around their newborn’s birth but in a video posted to TikTok on July 24, Aguilar detailed her postpartum care routine.
“I gave birth exactly a week ago today, so I am a week postpartum,” she starts the video saying. Aguilar points out that she tanned during her pregnancy, and so her stomach is a little darker than she’s used to and still “pretty jelly” after giving birth. To help along her healing, Aguilar says she coats her stomach in Bio-Oil after a shower and uses Frida Mom’s Postpartum Abdominal Binder for all-day comfort and support.
“It’s been helping put everything back in place. I had an epidural as well, so my back was hurting, this helps just keep my posture up,” she added. “To all my other mom girlies, we will get through this. Your body will do its thing in its time. So don’t ever compare your postpartum body to anybody else.”
Khalifa and Aguilar first shared the big news they were expecting on Father’s Day. “Baby Girl On The Way,” Khalifa simply captioned a photo of himself with his hand placed on Aguilar’s baby bump.
The Black and Yellow artist and Aguilar received congratulations and well wishes from several fellow celebrities, friends and fans. “Welcome To Da Girl Dad Club,” wrote Ludacris. “Congrats homie,” added Olympian Michael Phelps. Khalifa’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose sent her congratulations to the couple as well. “Gorgeous mama,” she commented on the expectant mother’s Instagram post showing off her maternity pictures.
While the baby will be the happy couple’s first child together, Khalifa already shares 11-year-old Sebastian Taylor with Rose. Earlier this year the rapper celebrated his son’s elementary school graduation. “Our baby is growing up @wizkhalifa,” Rose wrote in an Instagram story featuring a photo of herself and Khalifa with Sebastian on his graduation day.
