The Ultimatum Couple Trey Brunson and Riah Nelson Expecting

Treyvon ‘Trey’ Brunson and Jeriah ‘Riah’ Nelson are expecting!

The season two The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On stars announced their big news on Instagram over the weekend. “Next Chapter: Motherhood. These past 5 months have been so sweet and special. From hearing your heartbeat to little flutters and kicks. We cannot wait to meet you," Nelson wrote alongside a photo featuring her sonogram images, a newborn outfit and a sign with the due date of January 5, 2024.

The dad-to-be shared the same photo with a caption reading, “EVERYBODY!!! Me and @jeriahnyree are ready to welcome our baby into the world. I fell in love with our little one as soon as I found out she was pregnant. Gender reveal coming soon.”

Friends, family and costars sent their congrats to the happy couple in the comments. “Wow! Congratulations Mama,” The Ultimatum host Vanessa Lachey wrote. “AWH congratulations you guys, I’m so happy for you!" added costar Ryann McCracken.

The Brunson baby isn’t the only Ultimatum baby on the scene. The show’s first-season star, April Marie Melohn, welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend, Cody Cooper, on August 12.

Brunson and Nelson had been together for two years when Brunson applied to be on the show. The University of South Carolina graduate issued the ultimatum to Nelson citing that she was hesitant to take the next step in their relationship because she had never witnessed a “happy, healthy marriage” before.

After many ups and downs, the final episode of the series saw the two agreeing to pursue an engagement. At the reunion, the happy couple confirmed they were still engaged and were planning a destination wedding for spring 2025.
