Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Secretly Welcome Their First Child
Tom Hiddleston, the star of Loki, and his fiancée Zawe Ashton are officially parents!
“Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy,” a source told Us Weekly. “They have been having the struggles of new parents and aren’t sleeping much but are thrilled.”
Ashton, a Broadway and film actress, showed off her baby bump for the first time at the premiere of her latest film Mr. Malcolm’s List on June 29. For her debut, she wore an off-the-shoulder Sabina Bilenko Couture gown with a beaded bodice and light beige tulle, per Vogue, which confirmed the couple’s pregnancy in a special behind-the-scenes piece on how the actress got ready for the event.
An extremely private pair, The Avengers villain was not in attendance at the event and has yet to comment on the reveal. After months of speculation following a photograph of Ashton with a supposed engagement ring, Hiddleston finally confirmed their engagement in an interview with the Los Angeles Times earlier this month. Only responding, “I’m very happy,” when asked more about the relationship.
The couple met in 2019 while working on the Broadway play Betrayal together and made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2021 Tony Awards.
