Boy or Girl? See Tim Tebow and Demi Leigh's Sweet Paint Reveal

Tim Tebow is going to be a girl dad!

The retired NFL star and former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow shared their exciting news with the world on March 5. “Baby Tebow is a…GIRL!” the couple captioned their video reveal on Instagram.

In the Reel, the video begins in black and white, with both Demi-Leigh and Tebow predicting their first baby together would be a girl. After making their guesses, they blindfolded each other before painting on a canvas. As they finished and removed their blindfolds, the video flashed to color, revealing a pink canvas.“Our greatest blessing. We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents. We can’t wait to meet you, baby girl,” they added.

The couple also shared the inspiration behind their paint reveal, explaining that they wanted to create a meaningful piece of art for the nursery. "We chose two Bible verses—one for a boy and one for a girl—to add to the canvas once it was complete. The verse we want to speak over our baby girl is Psalm 25:4-5: ‘Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.’”

“We pray that she always finds her identity in Christ and places her hope in His love and truth. Now, let’s get this nursery in order! Bring on the pink bows, ruffles, and all things sweet,” they added.

The Tebows first announced they were expecting on January 14. “Baby Tebow,” the couple captioned a sweet video on Instagram. In the announcement, a glowing Demi-Leigh showed off her bump in a chic white maxi dress, while Tebow, dressed in a crisp white suit jacket and khakis, draped sonogram photos over her shoulder as they celebrated the happy news.

“We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together," Demi-Leigh told People in an exclusive interview. “We are honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad," Tebow added.

The Tebows have formed a solid team since they met in 2018 and tied the knot in 2020. Now, five years later, 29-year-old Demi-Leigh and 37-year-old Tebow are looking forward to taking their “deep friendship” to the next level. “I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost,” Demi-Leigh shared. “To be able to raise a little tiny human being together. I’m so grateful that Tim is my husband… that we get to do parenting together.”
