Tan and Rob France have officially welcomed their second baby!

The Queer Eye star shared the exciting news on Instagram May 30 with a photo of his new family of four. “Welcome baby boy #2, Isaac France, born this past weekend. He completes our little family perfectly,” France wrote. Issac is Hebrew in origin and traditionally means “laughter.”

The couple’s second child born via surrogate, France was quick to thank their “incredible warrior of a surrogate, for giving us the greatest gift one could ever give.” Friends and France’s Queer Eye Costars, from Padma Lakshmi to Karamo, congratulated the dads on their new addition. “My babies havin babies,” Bobby Berk joked.

France initially opened up about his journey to baby number two during an appearance on Bobbie’s Milkdrunk podcast. “We’re expecting our second baby. We are over the moon. We have wanted this for a long time. We always knew we wanted multiple. We are due not so long from now,” Tan shared.

When asked how the feelings around baby No. 2 were different than his first, the fashion designer noted that it “feels weirdly less stressful in the immediate sense but terrifying long term.” While the doting dads were expecting their first baby Ismail, they were vigilant about checking in on his daily milestones and movements. This time, though, they’ve taken a bit more of a “loosey-goosey” approach.

But that doesn’t mean things aren’t still nerve-wracking. “When we think of when the baby actually turns up…oh my gosh, that thought is terrifying, absolutely terrifying,” Tan said. “Because our one-and-a-half-year-old is really demanding, very demanding, and sometimes we can barely handle him, and the thought that we could potentially have a colicky baby or a difficult baby and also a toddler, two under two, or two at two is tough.”

Tan says that this fear of the future didn’t deter him and his husband, Rob, from pursuing a second child though. “Obviously, we didn’t just get pregnant by accident. We thought this through and we fought to make sure we could have our second one,” he added.

A homage to tradition, the Next in Fashion host explained that he and Rob had decided to announce the news of their second child on April 13 this year after announcing they were expecting their first son on April 13, 2021.

In a short clip from the podcast shared on his Instagram page, Tan celebrated his upcoming arrival. “Hard to believe it was two years ago today we announced Ismail was on his way! And today—we couldn’t be prouder to share that he’s going to be a big brother!” he captioned the post. “Becoming dads has been our greatest joy, and we are so excited to grow our family with the help of our wonderful surrogate.”

While Tan and Rob are certainly excited about the arrival of baby No. 2, Tan joked that Ismail might be a little less than thrilled about having to share the spotlight. “We’ve tried to explain there’s a baby coming—because there’s no visual in our house, it’s not like one of us is carrying so you can see the baby is growing, it’s a lot more difficult,” he said. “But we’re trying all we can to prepare him for the fact that he’s not the only one—it’s not going to go down well. Yeah, he loves our attention.”

Our congratulations to the France family of four!
