Tan France is settling into fatherhood. The Queer Eye star and his husband Rob welcomed a baby boy, Ismail, on July 10 via a surrogate. After bringing their son home after his three week stay in the NICU, the proud new dads have been soaking up every minute with their little one. But, like many other new parents, they could do with a little more sleep!

France took to his Instagram stories earlier this week to share some of the product recommendations he’s found most helpful for getting baby to sleep. “It’s been just over two weeks since we brought our baby boy Ismail home, and if you remember from our stories from the first few nights, we had a rough time,” he reportedly said in his Instagram Stories. “But we ended up getting a few different kinds of products that helped soothe him in the daytime [and] calm him at night that really helped us.”

He explained the recommendations weren’t an ad or sponsored, but rather simply the items that had personally worked best for him and his family. “I’m just hoping this will help others if they are struggling with their new baby,” he added.

So what are the products that helped baby (and him) get some more sleep? Check them out below.

The SNOO Smart Sleeper

The SNOO is a 2019 Best of Baby winner. It offers a combination of gentle rocking, soothing white noise and a snug swaddle, all to imitate the calm baby felt in the womb and to help them sleep. “The best purchase we ever made, we got it the day after we found out we were pregnant, so on Christmas day we purchased something called the SNOO,” France said. “Wow, we got an extra couple of hours. We still get an extra couple of hours of sleep per night. It is a game changer.”

Miku Pro Smart Baby Monitor

Another 2019 Best of Baby winner, this video monitor works in real-time, even when your internet connection is down, to help give parents peace of mind. “We needed a free-standing [monitor] so that we can take it downstairs when he’s downstairs, so we love this one,” France explained.

Buy it: Miku Pro Smart Baby Monitor, on sale for $299, BuybuyBABY.com.

Hiccapop Wipe Warmer and Dispenser

The Hiccapop Wipe Warmer and Dispenser can accommodate almost any type of wipes and can store over 75 of them at a time. “He does not appreciate [it] when we use wipes that haven’t been warmed,” France said of baby Ismail. “He screams bloody murder, so we got a wipe warmer from the supermarket.”

Baby Shusher

The Baby Shusher is portable and mimics the sounds baby heard in the womb—and apparently it was a recommendation from kids’ book author and fashion director at Instagram Eva Chen, who recently welcomed her third child. “I saw Eva Chen use something on her Instagram and thought I’d give it a go and see if it works. It does,” he said.

Aden + Anais Swaddles

A third previous Best of Baby winner, Aden + Anais makes some of the best swaddles around. Their Essentials Easy Wrap Swaddle comes in a pack of three and includes zips around the bottom for easy diaper changes. “One of the most important things we learned over the last two weeks is that we needed swaddles with Velcro,” France said. “Our other swaddles weren’t tight enough, and he really likes to be contained, so we got these and we love them.”
