Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce Welcome Their Third Daughter
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, have officially welcomed their third child.
After much excitement around a potential Super Bowl baby appearance, the proud parents welcomed their baby girl to the world a little over a week later on February 23. “Yesterday little lady #3 joined us," the couple posted on Instagram alongside a photo of their newborn daughter.
The Kelces also revealed their daughter’s name Bennett Llewellyn Kelce, and her birth weight and height—8lbs. 5oz. and 21 inches long— in the post. Bennett, typically a boy’s name of Latin origin, is imbued with good fortune. Meaning “blessed,” Bennett comes from the Latin benedictus, though its roots contain further esteemed qualities meaning “well spoken.”
The couple’s newest addition joins big sisters Elliotte Ray, 23 months, and Wyatt, 3. Our congratulations to the new family of five.
Kylie Kelce Sponsored As The Super Bowl’s ‘Most Valuable Pusher’
Brothers Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce prepared for a brother vs. brother showdown at the Superbowl, Kylie Kelce, Jason’s wife, prepped for an even bigger game day moment—the potential arrival of their third child.
At 38 weeks pregnant, Kylie brought two OBs as her guests to the Super bowl just in case baby No. 3 decided to make an appearance during the game. In support of Kylie and the incredible physical feat she is prepped for, ahead of the Super Bowl, Frida, the mom and baby brand dedicated to keeping things real, announced their sponsorship for the “real MVP or Most Valuable Pusher.”
In an Instagram post, Frida revealed the full-page ad they had taken out in this week’s edition of the Philadephia Inquirer. “This Sunday will generate over $500 million of ads and sponsorships around football players. But the real MVP isn’t going to be on the field. Frida is proud to officially sponsor Kylie Kelce in the sport of motherhood as she prepares to welcome baby #3,” Frida wrote in the post.
“While Kylie’s husband and team sweat over 18 weeks of work, she’s on week 38. Instead of water breaks, her water could actually break. There’s no practice round. And it’s messy. It’s literally blood, sweat and tears,” the cult-favorite brand continued about the realities of childbirth. “You wanna talk MVPs? Where’s the award for Most Valuable Pusher? Her plus-one this Sunday will be her OB-GYN because her Big Game could start right there at the Big Game. So as her husband pushes that football through his legs, she could be pushing something twice as big through hers. And that’s what deserves a sponsorship.”
Frida isn’t just sponsoring Kylie on the potential big day, though. Frida has offered to provide free products for mom and baby to all women who deliver a baby this Superbowl Sunday. Simply email biggamebaby@frida.com with proof of birth on Sunday, February 12, 2023, and a shipping address and Frida will send over Frida Mom and Frida Baby essentials at no cost.
The Kelce Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie will be 38 weeks along when the Super Bowl rolls around on February 12. While members of both teams are bringing friends and family, the Kelces will be inviting their obstetricians.
Speaking with his brother Travis Kelce In a recent episode of their podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the two discussed Kylie’s pregnancy and where everyone in their family would stand come time for the big game.
For the first time in NFL history, two brothers will play for opposing teams in the same Super Bowl. When their mom was asked what team she was cheering for, she simply responded, “the offense,” as both sons play on offense on their prospective teams.
“Are mom and dad sitting on your sideline? Are they sitting on my sideline?" Jason asked during the podcast. “We do have to figure that out because we each get a certain amount of tickets, and I feel like you’re going to have more of a family-oriented thing,” Travis replied.
“I’m bringing Kylie’s parents, I’m bringing the girls,” Jason shared, already the dad to daughters Elliotte Ray, 22 months, and Wyatt, 3. “Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game,” the soon-to-be dad of three shared.
“Dude! Dude,” Travis excitedly responded. “That could be a super Kelce Bowl. If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted,” Jason laughed.
This wouldn’t be the first time a baby made a Super Bowl appearance. Just last year, Samaria Jefferson, the wife of Los Angeles Rams receiver Van Jefferson, was rushed from the Super Bowl during the game to deliver their son at the hospital. Jefferson rushed to be by her side after the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.
A Super Bowl ring and a new addition to the family? That’d be a super day for sure!
