Rejoice! Starbucks Will Deliver Coffee Right to Your Doorstep Starting Next Year
Earlier this year, Starbucks teamed up with Uber Eats to test out a delivery service for select stores in Miami and Tokyo. After a successful trial run, the coffee brewing company has announced plans to expand its delivery service beginning next year, Delish reports.
Nearly a quarter of its coffee stores in the US will offer the Starbucks Delivers program in early 2019. That means, there may be more than 2,000 stores that’ll have this enticing treat. Wondering when the program will begin to roll out? Coffaholics may be able to place their very first delivery order as early as late March or April, Nation’s Restaurant News reports.
In a world of next-day shipping and ordering on the go, convenience is key for consumers. And the move to make piping hot coffee deliveries go right to your door is a smart one on Starbucks’s behalf. Every parent runs on caffeine, but finding time to get that sweet sip in is difficult when you have a house to run and rowdy kids to raise.
The only question is, can you preorder your cup of joe right now?
