Royal baby fever has been running rampant for months. As Meghan Markle’s April due date draws near, the excitement is reaching new heights. Last month, the mom-to-be descended upon New York City and gathered up all her friends from the States for a swanky baby shower. Although the party was the talk of the town for days following its festivities, a group of Florida ladies may have just outdone it.

Senior citizen residents at the St. Andrews Estates retirement home in Boca Raton, Florida threw a baby shower to honor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby. While the Duchess was absent from the celebration, the spirit of Kensington Palace was alive. The women dressed the part, sporting their best fascinators, headpieces and royally-inspired threads. The day was filled with all the usual shindigs, including games, gifts and, of course, high tea, according to PEOPLE.

Pink and blue balloons filled the room, a nod towards the surprise sex of the couple’s baby. Minding their manners, the women brought sweet baby gifts, including clothing, formula, and bottles, which will be donated to Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County.

This wasn’t the retirement home’s first rodeo. The residents previously threw a bridal shower back in May to celebrate Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.

Markle isn’t making any more public appearances, according to reports from earlier this month. So the next time we see her, may be to introduce her new baby to the world.
