Rams Head Coach Sean McVay and Wife Veronika Welcome First Baby

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay is now the proud father of a baby boy!

The NFL coach and his wife, Veronika Khomyn, shared the arrival of their first child with a clever Tweet. “LA Rams Transactions: Delivered Jordan John McVay,” the Los Angeles Rams account shared. In a press conference shortly after, McVay confirmed that he and Khomyn had indeed welcomed a son and explained why he had named his son Jordan John.

“His original due date was when my grandfather passed a year ago on the 31st,” the NFL coach shared during a press conference. “Which is just pretty special and if you don’t believe in a higher power … there’s certain things that occur that man, you just realize there’s something special going on.”

He continued: “The influence that my grandfather had on me … but also our family, he had a special relationship with Veronika as well. I thought that was only appropriate to have his middle name after my grandfather. His legacy lives on. I know he’s looking down smiling with what occurred yesterday.”

McVay and Khomyn met in college and dated for 10 years before tying the knot in June 2022 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. In July 2023 McVay confirmed that he and the former Ukrainian model were expecting.“It was great to be able to spend time with my wife, especially because it’s exciting we have a little boy coming here in a few months and my appreciation for her and just that process in general is significant,” McVay told ProFootballTalk.
