Pro Wrestler Ronda Rousey Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2

Ronda Rousey is in for round two!

The UFC fighter and WWE star announced that was pregnant during San Diego Comic-Con on July 25. Rousey chatted with actor and panel host Dave Bautista about the surprise announcement and her new graphic novel Expecting the Unexpected, which features a pregnant hit woman and launches today through a Kickstarter campaign. Afterwards the pro wrestler showed off her growing baby bump in a patterned pink dress while on the red carpet.

The child will be Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne’s second child. The 2008 Olympic Judo Bronze medalist welcomed her daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō in September 2021. “I can’t believe Pō is over a week old already,” she posted on Instagram after her daughter’s birth. She’s so perfect I wish we could bottle up these times and revisit them forever.”

Rousey has chronicled the many parts of her motherhood journey since welcoming Pō, including her candid breastfeeding journey. “Our boys asked me the other day how I’m gunna feed Pō on the plane when we take her with us to Hawaii. And I was like ‘uhhh, same way I always do.’ Then it occurred to me that they probably never seen anyone breastfeed before and weren’t sure if it was appropriate in public," she captioned an Instagram post of her breastfeeding.

“Motherhood’s some badass, primal, beautiful s— that shouldn’t be hidden,” Rousey wrote. “It still blows my mind that my body assembled this little person, pushed her out and now makes everything she needs to thrive. It’s really nothing to be ashamed of, it’s something to brag about. #normalizebreastfeeding #proudmama.”
