Bachata Artist Romeo Santos Welcomes Baby No. 4
Acclaimed Bachata artist Romeo Santos has officially welcomed his fourth child!
In an Instagram video promoting his summer stadium tour, Santos reflects on the importance of his family and the integral role they’ve played in his latest album. The Solo Conmigo singer reveals that not only were the voices of his children Solano, Valentino and Alex featured in the intro to his album but also a new special guest.
“I think that nobody noticed in the background was the heartbeat of the newest member of the Santos dynasty,” Santos said. “Introducing my fourth prince, Milano.” The video closes out as the father of four leans over his newborn’s crib and picks up his son, offering fans a glimpse of Milano for the first time.
The Latin singer orginally shared that he and his girlfriend were expecting on Tuesday with the release of his latest music video Solo Conmigo. In the video, he embraces his longtime partner’s baby bump covered by a sheer cloth while singing about the couple’s judgment-free relationship. Notoriously private, the scene marks the first time Santos has shown his girlfriend in one of his music videos.
Santos, who recently graced the covers of Rolling Stone En Espanol and Billboard Latin, is already a father of three, including Alex Damian, Valentino and Solano.
This past September, Santos opened up about fatherhood during a Q&A panel at Billboard’s Latin Music Week. “The kids always come first. I now bring food home every time I’m out, and I’m obsessed with my children,” said Santos. He also noted that his children served as inspiration for his latest album Formula Vol 3, where all three appear on the intro.
He also joked about other aspects of parenting like his fear of diaper changes and his fail-safe calming method—the classic elevator, during which he picks up his fussy little one and holds him while he squats up and down. That’s one happy baby coming up!
Our congratulations to Santos and his partner on their growing family.
