Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Share First Photo as Family of Four
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are stepping out in style with their first photo as a family of four.
Photographed by the same acclaimed fashion photographer that captured the music mogul’s first pregnancy photos, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky publicly posed with their two young children—RZA Athelston and Riot Rose in a unique streetwear-style family shoot.
The images shared today on Instagram by photographer Miles Diggs, known by Diggzy, feature shots of the family posed in front a Range Rover at night, playing with Riot Rose on a printed mat and in one photograph, A$AP runs around with RZA on his shoulders.
Born on Aug. 1, 2023 at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41am, a birth certificate obtained by The Blast reveals the couple has named their newborn son Riot Rose Mayers.
Baby number two’s name goes along with a family theme that has each member’s name starting with the letter “R.” Rhianna, Rakim Athelaston Mayers (A$AP Rocky’s legal name), RZA and now baby Riot.
Earlier this year, Rihanna revealed she was expecting a younger sibling for her one-year-old son RZA in spectacular fashion. During her much anticipated Super Bowl performance made history by displaying her baby bump on screens across America. As she effortlessly executed fan-favorite tracks from Where Have You Been to We Found Love, Rihanna played up her big reveal, caressing her bump and leaving the zipper of her monochromatic red jumpsuit down to reveal her belly.
Rihanna has not commented on how RZA feels about becoming a big brother yet, but during her Met Gala appearance earlier this year, she noted that she “felt a little guilty” for leaving her 11-month-old at home while she took her bump and baby number two to the event. Since her Super Bowl reveal, Rihanna has brought baby number two along for some big moments, from posing on the cover of Vogue to performing at the Oscars..
