Pink's 'Family Meeting' in the Bathroom Sums Up Life With Toddlers

If you are a mom or dad to at least one rambunctious toddler, “privacy” is likely a foreign concept.

As it turns out, the rule even applies to celebrity parents. Just ask musician Pink and her husband Carey Hart. Hart shared a post on Instagram, where Pink snapped a pic of an impromptu family meeting…while he was going to the bathroom.

“Dude, can I just take a sh*t? Family meetings always have to happen when I’m pissing off IG,” the dad jokes on Instagram.

This funny snapshot captures an occurrence all-too-familiar for parents of young kids. Those sweet moments of peace and quiet—whether it be on the toilet, in the shower, or anywhere at all—are essentially non-existent once baby arrives.

Fellow parents took to Hart’s post, where they jokingly commiserated with the famous dad.

“You gotta love it! When there’s kids in the home, privacy is no longer available for us adults,” says one follower.

“Every time I went in to take a nice, hot bath to relax, it became family meeting time. I’d have both kids, two dogs, and the cat all in there with me! Parenting,” shared one mom.

Another parent commented saying, “Life with kids, love it in the moment and miss it it in years to come. You are rocking the family life.”

It certainly hits the nail on the head. While privacy may be a long-gone concept once kids come along, you can guarantee there’ll never be a dull moment again.
