Nick Cannon Welcomes Baby No. 12 With Alyssa Scott

Nick Cannon is a dad once again! Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed baby girl Halo into the world on December 14.

Alyssa Scott shared a heartfelt video today honoring the duo’s late son Zen, while introducing her newest addition. “December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed. Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs every day,” she captioned the post.

The video captures intimate moments of Scott’s birth, including Cannon holding his youngest child for the first time and both parents in shock over the reveal of their baby girl. The model previously shared that she did not plan on finding out the sex of her baby until the infant’s arrival.

“I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise! We love you Halo Marie Cannon,” Scott added.

Scott initially shared the happy news of her pregnancy on Instagram in late October. Her announcement featured a photo showing her baby bump under a blue bodycon dress alongside her 4-year-old daughter Zeela, from a previous relationship.

“With you by my side…,” she captioned the post.

"She comes up to my belly multiple times a day and says, ‘do you know I love you little baby?!’ " Scott wrote alongside a sweet picture with Zeela.

The happy news came almost a year after the death of her and Cannon’s son Zen. Born June 23, baby boy Zen lived five months after being diagnosed with brain cancer. In honor of what would have been Zen’s 1st birthday this past June, Scott and Cannon launched a pediatric cancer foundation called Zen’s Light, which will provide funds for research and support for families whose children have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer.

The birth of Halo marks Cannon’s fifth child in 2022 alone. Each child has been more to a different mother causing quite the stir and grabbing headlines. According to People, in addition to Zen, Cannon shares sons Rise Messiah, 5 weeks, and Golden Sagon, 5, as well as daughter Powerful Queen, 19 months, with model Brittany Bell.

He is also dad to twins Zion and Zillion, 16 months, with Abby De La Rosa, who is currently expecting her third baby, as well as 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also shares son Legendary Love, 3 months, with model Bre Tiesi and recently welcomed daughter Onyx Ice Cole with former Price Is Right model LaNisha Cole.
