Ms. Rachel Reveals She Experienced a Miscarriage in New Song
Beloved YouTuber and preschool teacher Rachel Griffin Accurso, known to her millions of fans as Ms. Rachel, recently shared a deeply personal moment with her followers.
On September 9, the creator of the wildly popular Songs for Littles YouTube channel posted a touching video where she opened up about her heartbreaking experience with miscarriage and the joy that came with the birth of her rainbow baby, Thomas, now 6. In the emotional Instagram Reel, Ms. Rachel sat at her piano and performed a tender song dedicated to her son. “Rainbow baby, dream come true. Rainbow baby, if you knew,” she sang softly, “every prayer we said for you. Rainbow baby, dream come true.”
Along with the heartfelt performance, Ms. Rachel expressed her love and understanding for anyone who has endured a similar journey, writing in her caption, “My rainbow baby is not a baby anymore but he’ll always be my rainbow baby. So much love to anyone who understands.”
Ms. Rachel’s fans were quick to share their own stories of loss and hope, flooding her comment section with words of gratitude and support. One follower wrote, “I just had my 2nd miscarriage. Sending positivity and strength your way. It’s so difficult. Thank you for sharing.” Another shared, “I was just telling my daughter she is my dream come true. She hugged me and said I was hers."
Ms. Rachel’s journey to preschool stardom began when she and her husband, Aron Accurso, noticed their son, Thomas, was struggling with speech delays. Frustrated by the lack of available resources, they decided to create their own channel, “Songs for Littles,” which has since grown to over 11 million subscribers.
In addition to her musical talents, Ms. Rachel has become a beacon of hope and support for parents. In her Instagram stories, she apologized to those who can relate to the pain behind her song. “I’m sorry for your loss if you understand this song. Love you,” she wrote.
