Country Star Luke Combs and Wife Nicole Welcome Baby Boy Tex

Country singer Luke Combs and his wife Nicole Hocking are officially parents! Baby boy Tex Lawrence Combs was welcomed into the world on Father’s Day.

The When It Rains It Pours singer took to his Instagram to share the happy news two days later. Combs shared a sweet family photo with Hocking cradling baby Tex, writing in the caption, “Welp, he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy. Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”

Nicole also shared the image to her Instagram, writing, “It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day. Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best, chillest angel boy, and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days.”

Friends of the couple were all quick to comment with their congratulations. Fellow country star Cole Swindell wrote, “Congrats brother,” while Combs’ manager Chris Kappy commented, “I am so ready to spoil this kid! Uncle Cookie is going to be ready for anything and all! Glad you and Luke are back home with Tex! God love y’all!” Combs even took the time to comment on his wife’s post, “You crushed it my love!”

Combs and Hocking announced their pregnancy in January with a photo of the couple holding a sonogram of Tex, captioned, “Here we go y’all! Lil dude Combs is coming this Spring! Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this babe. It’s gonna be a hell of a ride.”

The couple tied the knot on August 1, 2020, in Florida. They met in 2016 at the Key West Songwriters Festival after the two reportedly locked eyes across the crowd. The duo announced their engagement in November 2018, and it’s been happily ever after since.
