Kindergartener's Hilarious School Photos Go Viral

Andriel Miles was taken by surprise when she pulled her son’s school photos out of his backpack. Expecting to see a snapshot of her smiling 5-year-old son Andrew in the typical prim and proper school photo pose, she was instead met with a picture of her son mid-scream.

“I’m so mad right now! I checked my son’s book bag and find these,” she writes in a Facebook post. Initially the mom was really angry and contacted the photography agency to get to the bottom of it. “They dropped the ball, I don’t care what anybody says.”

You can’t really blame Miles for being so upset. Like any proud mama, she was probably hoping she’d have updated photos of her youngster to pass around to friends and family. Thankfully, once she let it sink in, her anger quickly turned to humor, along with the more than 40,000 Facebook users who’ve shared the post.

“Everyone is just embracing the photo and loving the photo,” she tells 13WMAZ. “That one photo showed all of his personality—how sweet he is, how loving he is.”

As for Andrew, the jokester says he’s planning on striking the same pose in next year’s pictures.

Miles isn’t the first parent whose kid’s school photo didn’t go exactly according to plan. Another mom, Laurel Hutsell, chose a picture day outfit for her son which led to a funny green screen fail.
