Pro Soccer Star Julie Ertz Expecting Baby No. 2 With NFL’s Zach Ertz
The Ertz family team is adding another athlete to their roster!
Former professional soccer player Julie Ertz and Washington Commanders tight-end Zach Ertz revealed over the weekend that they were expecting. “Happy Birthday Mama! We love you! Adding to the family Summer 2024,” Zach captioned a photo of himself and Julie at a wedding with the athlete’s bump on display in a kelp green maxi dress.
The Ertzes are already parents to Madden Matthew who they welcomed in August 2022. “One week already with our sweet boy,” Julie captioned a photo of her newborn celebrating his arrival. “Madden Matthew Ertz you are so loved. Beyond grateful to be your mommy. @zachertz and I can’t even put into words how blessed we are to be your parents.”
Julie returned to the pitch less than 250 days after welcoming Madden, and at 11 months old Madden got to see his mom play in the World Cup. “No words can describe sharing this journey with my son," she captioned a photo holding her son on the field with the US World Cup team. “Madden has 22 of the coolest and inspirational aunties in the world!”
While Julie retired shortly after her 2023 World Cup performance Madden still continues to support Dad on the field during the NFL season. Soon the Ertzes will have another little one cheering Dad on!
