Last month, Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, welcomed a baby girl. He announced, “I’m the father of a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Winnie Rose Fallon and she’s so cute. She’s 5 lbs., 9 oz. Me and my wife are so happy.” But, there’s one secret the couple kept until today: They used a gestational carrier to carry the baby.
The Late Night with Jimmy Fallon host got candid on Today, saying, “My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby… We tried a bunch of things — so we had a surrogate.” According to Today.com, some of Jimmy’s own coworkers didn’t even know there was a baby on the way until little Winnie was born!
“We said, ‘We’re not going to tell anybody,’” he said. “It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody."
So they managed to be stealthy, and it all paid off for the couple. Jimmy is obviously really smitten with his baby girl! “I can’t stop looking at her,” Jimmy said. “When I’m not holding her, I’m looking at photos of her on my phone. She’s the coolest — the best thing to ever happen to me.”
