Jessica Alba Captures the Relatable Stress of Holiday Family Photos

The holidays are here, and it’s primetime for sending out holiday cards. As smiling, happy faces slide into your mailbox and pristine family photos fill your Instagram feed, it can be easy to forget what we all know—holiday family photos can be super stressful.

Thankfully, one celebrity mom is getting real about the chaos that goes on behind the scenes of your favorite photographs. In a new video shared to her Instagram, actress Jessica Alba shows off the oh-so-relatable process of getting the family assembled and getting everyone smiling and ready for “the shot.’

Throughout the video The Fantastic Four actress can be seen frantically trying to assemble her pajama-clad family of five. As her kids Honor, 14, Haven, 11, and Hayes, 4, play around and take their places, Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, try in vain to wrangle the family’s two dogs, Lucy and Dolly. At one point, the actress simply sits down, exhausted in position for the photo, while the chaos around her reigns.

“Nothing like trying to wrangle three kids and two dogs for a holiday shoot,” Alba sarcastically captioned the video. “But hey - at least we had the cutest PJs in the game @honest.” Parents chimed with comments like “the struggle is real” and “I am dying at your facial expressions…I literally feel like we live the same life.”
