Rapper Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie XO Share Their IVF Journey
There’s hope for a baby Jelly Bean on the way!
In a recent episode of the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, rapper Jelly Roll revealed that he and his wife since 2016, Bunnie XO, were officially trying to welcome another child into their blended family of four.
“My wife and I are talking about having a baby, and it really made me realize that at almost 40, I was like, it means I got to live to at least 60. I got to see this kid into college,” said Jelly, who is dad to daughter Bailee Ann, 16, and son Noah Buddy, 7, from previous relationships.
Bunnie then shared the video of his interview on her Instagram page and revealed that the two had decided to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). “Papabear dropped a surprise on this pod today,” she wrote across the clip. “We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our ivf journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/all odds stacked against us, it’s always been hard & we have only just begun.”
“God Willing- Baby DeFord 2026 💫 @bussinwtb,” she captioned the post. The influencer and podcaster has been open about enjoying her role as stepmom in the past while looking forward to the future. For his part, Jelly Roll, talked about his journey to lose weight and get healthy to be around for his kids longer.
Jelly took part in his first 5K race in May. Ahead of the achievement, he told People in April that he had lost 70-something pounds. “I’ve been really kicking ass, man. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week,” he said at the time. “I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now.”
Our best wishes to Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO on their IVF journey!
