See the Adorable Baby Gift Jamie Lee Curtis Sent Lindsay Lohan
Jamie Lee Curtis is one proud “movie mom!”
Curtis and Lindsay Lohan first formed their own mother-daughter bond while filming the smash hit Freaky Friday and have been linked every since. So when Lohan welcomed her son Luai last month, Curtis was quick to send her congratulations and a special surprise for her little Luai.
“Magic Monday!” the Oscar winner posted not long after Luai’s arrival was made public. “My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessing to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.”
But like any loving grandma, Curtis didn’t stop there instead, sending a care package filled with goodies across the world to Dubai. For her new “movie grandson,” Curtis sent a special collection of children’s books that she had authored or contributed to herself. Best-sellers like, Where Do Balloons Go? An Uplifting Mystery, This Is Me: A Story of Who We Are and Where We Came From and My Mommy Hung the Moon: A Love Story, are sure to fill baby Luai’s sailboat shelves for years to come.
Curtis didn’t forget to send Mom a little something too. Alongside the books the actress sent a soft throw blanket and a sweet note reading, “In times of crisis and celebration, there is power in showing others that we hear them, we see them and that we love them.”
Lohan previously opened up about Curtis’ support and advice for working mothers in an interview with Allure. “I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently,” she said, “and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you, and everything will be fine.’” We know one “movie grandma” who would be eager to babysit on set!
