Orange Is the New Black star Jackie Cruz is embracing motherhood with confidence!
Best known for her role as Marisol “Flaca” Gonzalez in the hit Netflix series, Cruz recently took to Instagram to reveal she’s expecting her third child with husband Fernando Garcia. “What makes me confident… this love growing inside me,” she captioned a video showcasing her bare bump.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities. “Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations you guys,” wrote OITNB costar and new mom Uzo Aduba. New Girl actress Hannah Simone chimed in with “I love this.” Cruz also took to the comments to confirm that, unlike last time, she’s expecting just one baby—not twins.
The Dominican–American actress and her husband welcomed their first two children in 2022. “Being a mother has changed my world. My babies are everything to me. I’ve been taking my time to enjoy every moment. I’m feeling content, exhausted, overwhelmed, grateful, tired, joyful, blessed, and fortunate all at the same time,” she wrote in an Instagram post capturing her bump and her twins’ tiny feet. “My Babies are healthy and beautiful.”
