Model Iskra Lawrence Welcomes Baby No. 2 With Boyfriend Philip Payne

British model Iskra Lawrence has welcomed her first baby girl!

The body-positivity advocate and her boyfriend, Philip Payne, shared the exciting news with the world on October 8. “She’s here P.P. Our daughter joined us at 3:56 am here at home. 8 lbs 14 oz of preciousness, our hearts are exploding with gratitude,” she captioned a carousel of sweet photos with her newborn.

Lawrence expressed her gratitude to her support team in the announcement. “Thank you, my rock, for being by my side @philipapayne. Can’t believe we finally have our daughter and a sister for big brother,” she added. “Thank you to my birth team @anyadjumabaev @emmyrobbindoula for giving me the redemption birth of my dreams (I filmed my whole labour and will share soon). My parents for being here to help—it means so much. And finally, thank you @alina.leksi for capturing these beautiful images I’ll treasure forever. It takes a village… and thank YOU all for your love and support. I can’t wait for you to get to know our little angel girl.”

The Saltair founder recently redefined maternity confidence by strutting down the runway in a bikini with her baby bump proudly on display during Cupshe’s runway show at PARAISO Miami Swim Week in June. Lawrence took the runway by storm, wearing two different looks: a white and blue bikini, and a white floral one-piece. As she paused at the end of the catwalk, the soon-to-be mom of two cradled her baby bump, embracing her new form.

Lawrence first announced she was expecting baby No. 2 on Instagram on April 18. “Four years later and we are finally going to be a family of four,” she captioned a photo of herself, Payne and their 4-year-old son, Alpha.

In a follow-up just two days later, Lawrence shared the emotional point at which she found out she was pregnant again after a long battle with infertility. “The moment I found out, after months of negative tests. I was shaking when I saw those two lines. I’m honestly still in disbelief, awe and constant gratitude. I’ll be sharing more of the journey of trying to conceive especially as this week is National Infertility Awareness week,” she captioned the video of her revealing her positive pregnancy test. “I’m sending all my love to those on their own fertility journeys. I see you and love you.”
