Ireland Baldwin Has Given Birth to Her Daughter Holland

Ireland Baldwin has welcomed her baby girl!

The oldest daughter of Alec Baldwin and her boyfriend RAC shared the news on Instagram May 18. Posed together on Baldwin’s hospital bed with her daughter in her arms, the couple simply captioned the photo with her daughter’s name, “Holland.”

Baldwin, who has been dating recording artist RAC since 2021, initially confirmed her pregnancy news on Instagram with photos of her ultrasound and a positive pregnancy test. She also confirmed on the Girlboss Radio podcast earlier this year what she would be naming her baby girl. “We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent,” she chuckled. “And then I love the actress Holland Taylor. I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland.”

Just a day after announcing the arrival of her daughter, Baldwin shared a snapshot from her exhausting labor and delivery journey. Sprawled out in a hospital bathtub, her head against a towel and Sprite in her hand, the new mom simply captioned the post, “The photo I’m going to show my daughter when she back talks.”

Parents from all over the world chimed in the comments, thankful that Baldwin had shared such a real and relatable experience. “It’s the sprite for me,” wrote one mom, “Seriously, that was me in and out of the tub…all of it pretty traumatic but beautiful! you got this proud of you,” added another. “Frame it and hang it in her room,” joked another user.
