Harry Styles Stalls Concert So Pregnant Mom Can Go Pee
Pregnancy can pose some pretty inconvenient moments, from not being able to bend over to tie your shoes to struggling up the stairs and morning nausea. But among all the inconvenience, one mom-to-be can be sure she’s not missing anything—not even a minute of pop sensation Harry Styles’ concert.
The Grammy-award-winner went viral this weekend after stopping his sold-out stadium tour and stalling until one pregnant fan made it back from the bathroom. The TikTok, which captured the moment, begins with Styles responding to Sian, the pregnant fan, who had asked him for input on her baby’s name.
“That’s a lot of pressure, Sian. You don’t really want me to name it?” the singer initially replied. “This could be quite fun though, couldn’t it? What’s it gonna be? What’s it gonna be? What’s it gonna be?” he said excitedly.
Before he could answer, however, Sian confessed that she needed to use the bathroom, and Styles told her to proceed without worry. “I think we all agree that it’s important for Sian to go for a wee, don’t we. You should go for a wee,” the singer said. “You know what I’m going to do this for this one time. If you go for a wee, I’m going to stall. Sian, you won’t miss a thing. If you hurry up, you won’t miss a thing.”
While Sian ran to the loo, Styles stalled the audience by reading their homemade signs and chatting with the crowd. When Sian returned, he cheered for her and resumed their baby name conversation, where she gave him four options: Stevie, Rafe, Harley and Caleb. The crowd’s choice by popular vote: Caleb.
Fans were touched by Styles’ superior stalling and kindness in the comments. “Pregnant lady holds up entire concert,” joked one user. “He’s always so gentle and kind with pregnant women. So sweet and understanding,” added another. “I don’t even listen to his music, but I would go to his concert for these interactions,” commented another admirer.
Our hats off to a stunning performer who knows not only how to put on a show, but how to put Moms first!
