These Are Google’s Top Trending Baby Searches for 2019
What’s the first thing we do when we aren’t sure of the answer to a question? We Google it.
Today, the tech company released its 2019 Year in Search with data for its top trending searches from this past year. (A trending search is essentially just one that had a high spike in traffic over a sustained period of time this year as compared to last year.) The list was compiled through studies of trillions of searches on Google (minus the spam and repeat searches). It highlights people, topics, events, places and babies that captured global attention this year. When it comes to babies, some of the top trending searches may surprise you.
Although Baby Yoda’s emergence came late in the year, with the launch of Disney Plus, it still topped the list, along with some old favorites, such as “Baby Shark” (which came in second). The rest of the list is comprised of celebrities who gave birth in 2019. Without further ado, here are the top ten trending searches in the Babies category from Google’s 2019 Year in Search.
