Cuteness Overload: Little Girl and Her Pup Act Out Little Red Riding Hood

Family dogs are the MVPs of the house, especially where kids are involved. While youngsters may have the best intentions at heart, those cute canines are often transformed into ponies, babies or whatever else kids’ playtime imaginations drum up.

The beloved Facebook show for animal lovers, Animal Tales, which is run by Waggle, posted an adorable video that sums up the life of a doggo who lives with kids. In the clip, a little girl and her pup pal act out the Little Red Riding Hood tale, and their performance is on point.

While the young girl pretends to be Little Red, the ever-obedient dog takes on the role of the Big Bad Wolf. Camoflouged in granny’s glasses and a knit hat, the family pet lays in bed and awaits his cue. Right after the cute kid declares “grandma, what big teeth you have,” she squeals and runs from the room, prompting the dog to get into character and chase his pretend prey.

It’s no surprise the video has been a hit on Facebook. With more than 5,000 comments, many have left messages to share their love for the silly video.

“So cute and refreshing to see kids using their imaginations,” one comment reads.

“Just a sweet girl playing with her sweet dog. Her giggle is precious,” says another.

“Aw, the love and friendship of a dog and child is so special,” a sweet note reads.
