One expectant mama was in for a double surprise at her baby-to-be’s gender reveal party. Enveloped in a swarm of oversized pink and blue balloons, Yvette stood in front of her family and friends anxious to tear open a large box that would reveal her baby’s sex. Or so she thought.
But when she opened the box, it was white balloons that escaped from within. Baffled by the turn of events, it wasn’t until she spotted a balloon shaped like an engagement ring that she started to piece it together. Next thing she knew, her now-fiancé, Julio, was down on his knee.
“There are no words to explain what I felt that day. My emotions were running crazy filled with happiness,” she says sharing her full proposal story on How They Asked. “I was only expecting to get one surprise that day and I got two! I can honestly say that this day was the best day of my life!”
