Here's How 'Game of Thrones' Would Pan Out if Elmo Had His Way
The latest Game of Thrones finale theory surfacing online has a much happier ending than you’d expect. At least, according to Elmo. The muppet made a special visit to King’s Landing to teach the forever-feuding Lannister siblings a thing or two on respect. Surprisingly, everyone was still alive and well by the time the episode ended. That’s got to be a GoT first, right?
Titled “Respect is Coming,” the beloved Sesame Street character journeys to Westeros to preach to Cersei and Tyrion Lannister that respect brings us together. Making quite an unexpected entrance, the furry red friend barges in mid-feud
Respect brings us together, and if anyone can convince Cersei and Tyrion to get along, Elmo may just be the one to do it. “When Elmo has a problem with his friends, like Abby or Cookie Monster, Elmo doesn’t get upset,” the muppet explains. “Elmo listens and learns from what they have to say.”
There’s the “a-ha” moment. “If we stop fighting and work together, we can be stronger,” Tyrion comments. “I’m willing to learn and listen if you are.” And after a little bit of deliberation, even the Queen can’t deny the logic there and vows to give it a try.
And just like that, there was peace in King’s Landing…Even if it’s only for this adorable minute-long clip.
