DockATot Is Launching a Bassinet Line
For some parents, the DockATot is a total godsend, giving baby a snug, cozy space to rest without the risk of falling or rolling over. Plus, it can be used for lounging, tummy time, diaper changes—you name it. But some parents use it as a co-sleeper or infant sleep positioner, which isn’t FDA- or AAP-approved. Now, the brand is making a safer, sleep-specific solution, introducing a line of bassinets. And they are luxurious.
The Aristot modular bassinet debuted today at the JPMA show in Washington, DC. Created by Lisa Furuland, the Swedish designer behind the DockATot, these chic bassinets totally upgrade any nursery. I mean, one of the fabric designs mimics marble.
This modular concept is new to bassinets. While we’ve seen it in strollers, we’ve never seen a bassinet that can attach to different pedestals, depending on your style preference. Those pedestals come in three styles: circular, square cross-section or rocking.
Available this fall, these luxury bassinets come at a luxury price point: $1,500. But unlike literally any other bassinet, they come with longevity as well. One baby outgrows the Aristot, it can be reconfigured into a table or stool.
