You Can Now Call Mickey Mouse to Help Get Kids to Bed

A new Disney hotline is taking the battle out of bedtime.

Who hasn’t had trouble getting their little ones to bed? Show of hands!

Yeah, we thought so. Pretty much every parent has spent far more time than they wanted to on bedtime. Not only that, but too little sleep for kids can lead to behavioral problems and isn’t good for both our health and theirs. Luckily, Disney is here to help with a new Sleep Shop Hotline.

It’s just the thing to give kids something to look forward to at bedtime. Parents can now call 1-877-7-MICKEY to access recorded messages from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. Minnie will ask if their teeth have been brushed, and Goofy will talk about the fun day he had with Mickey.

While the five classic Disney characters are available on the hotline, so far you won’t find any messages from Disney’s more recent creations, like Rapunzel, Moana or Princess Anna from Frozen. Kristen Bell, the voice of Anna, was asked about it during her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she and Kimmel commiserated about the difficulties of getting their kids to bed.

Since Bell’s voice isn’t on the hotline, Kimmel and asked her to record something special to the tune of Frozen’s hit song, “Do You Want to Build A Snowman?” She wound up sharing a special message with a pretty hysterical twist:

If you want to use the hotline, you’ll have to be in the US or Canada. For now, the plan is to keep it open through August 31.
