Dan + Shay’s Shay and Hannah Mooney Are Over the Moon with Excitement!

The Grammy Award-winning artist and the Unexpected podcast host have welcomed their fourth child, announcing the joyful news on January 21. “Our brand new baby BOY is finally here,” the proud parents shared alongside a photo of their newborn dressed in a cozy winter onesie and matching hat. “Aubrey Ellis Mooney. 7 lbs 9 ounces + perfectly healthy! Thank you Jesus for another miracle!”

Hannah, the former Miss Arkansas, revealed in the comments that each of her sons has a family name incorporated into their first or middle name, and Aubrey is no exception. Named after her grandfather, Aubrey carries on the family tradition. Aubrey, a gender-neutral name of German origin, currently ranks as the 239th most popular baby name in the U.S.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, are already parents to three boys—Asher, 8, Ames, 4, and Abram, 2. With the arrival of their fourth son, the Mooney household is officially a full house! “God has truly chosen you to raise mighty men of faith,” one commenter wrote. Another joked, “At least you have enough clothes to last a LONG time,” to which Hannah replied, “This sweet has hand-me-downs times three.”

Shay and Hannah first announced their pregnancy last summer in an adorable family video featuring all three of their boys. The heartwarming clip showed the couple sitting on a couch as their sons joined them one by one. Hannah then leaned over to reveal a positive pregnancy test, eliciting joyful laughter and smiles from the entire family. “1, 2, 3, 4….” they captioned the post, perfectly capturing the excitement of their growing family.
