Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos Expecting Baby No. 2

Dak Prescott is about to be a girl dad times two!

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, revealed to Sports Illustrated on December 10 that they’re expecting another baby girl, due May 22, 2025. Their second daughter will arrive just over a year after they welcomed their first, Mary Jane, in February 2024. The oldest of three girls Ramos told the outlet that she “can’t wait to raise empowered daughters who grow with and learn from one another,” just like she and her sisters have over the years.

"It’s really special to be a female in this world in this day and age and to watch your siblings grow up and be empowered, taking notes and using you as an example, but [also] being themselves and growing into what makes them their own person,” she said. “It’s so beautiful to watch and I can’t wait to do the same with MJ and watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.”

The couple is keeping their baby girl’s first name under wraps until her arrival but has revealed that her middle name, Rayne, will honor Prescott’s first name.

Prescott and Ramos introduced their first child, Mary Jane, on March 18. “MJ Rose, Being your parents is the biggest blessing life has to offer and we are so fortunate that you are ours,” the couple shared in a joint post on Instagram. “Welcome into this world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected! We are so IN LOVE with you. Love, Mom & Dad.”

In the collection of photos, the first-time parents shared a picture of their new family of three, pictures of Prescott scrubbed up in the labor and delivery room and minimalistic images of baby MJ in a white sweater and leggings.

“I feel different,” Prescott said when asked about his new life as father at a Children’s Cancer Fund event in Dallas. “When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. And everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but you want that for somebody else even more,” he added, “Yeah, it’s special.”

Ramos intially shared the exciting news that she and Prescott were expecting baby Mary Jane on November 26. “A little bit of Heaven sent down to Earth. Our immeasurable blessing,” Ramos captioned elegant black and white photos of her bump. “I cannot wait to raise a strong, confident, beautiful baby girl with you @_4dak,” she added, tagging the NFL star.

Prescott was quick to respond in the comments with excitement and joy over his soon-to-be #girldad status. “How thankful I am to do this with you can’t be explained! God makes no mistakes and nothing is coincidental and for that, I thank Him daily,” the 30-year-old quarterback wrote. “I love you, and y’all can always count on me. Let’s do this Mama.”
