Dad and Baby Having a Full-Blown Conversation in Gibberish Is Best Friends Goals

Having a child is basically a built-in best friend. Now matter the age difference, you two will instantly hit it off. Yes, even in those early years; especially in those early years. Shanieke Pryor shared an adorable video of her son Kingston hanging out with his dad, comedian DJ Pryor.

In the clip, the two engage in a full-blown conversation with each other, regardless of the fact the little guy can barely form words yet. Here’s a snippet of how their conversation goes:

Dad: They need to work on that, right?

Baby: Yes.

Dad: Did you understand it though?

Baby: No.

Kingston then asks another question in “baby talk,” to which DJ Pryor hilariously responds, “Oh no, no, not this one. This is the grand finale of this one.” Kingston then makes some more babbles, that sound something like “the last one.” The dad, not missing a beat, replies, “Yeah, that’s the last one.”

DJ Pryor and Kingston engage in an animated back-and-forth conversation for about another minute. At the end of the discussion, the dad adorably concludes, “We think a lot alike, huh?”

The video has been an instant hit, going viral in a matter of days. It’s already amassed more than 1,000,000 shares, 760,000 likes and 230,000 comments, and shows no signs of slowing down. And that’s all the proof we need that parents and their children speak a special language of their own.
