Jordan Peele's Wife Chelsea Peretti Hilariously Pumped Her Way Through the Oscars
Jordan Peele made history for becoming the first black screenwriter to win best original screenplay for Get Out at this year’s Oscars. Not to undermine him, or anything, but his wife Chelsea Peretti says she’s trying to win herself an Academy Award for her behind-the-scenes breast pumping.
Peretti, who stars in the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, shared a snapshot of her pump (it looks like the Medela Freestyle) during a break in the action at Sunday evening’s awards.
Yep, still no place to breastfeed at the Oscars. Peretti managed to sneak into someone’s trailer for a little privacy, putting her one step closer to “getting the EGOT of pumping locations,” like she dreams.
Peretti’s been pumping her way through the awards show circuit, sharing a photo of herself in a pumping bra at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.
Where will she go next? Maybe we’ll finally get a peek at baby Beaumont, 8 months, if she decides to post a nursing photo during Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August.
