Watch: Bride Surprises Groom With Sweet Pregnancy Announcement

“Baby, I’m pregnant.”

With just those three words, Erica Mullenix had her entire wedding party close to tears. The best reaction of all came from her unsuspecting husband, whose joyous smile stretched across his face.

In a pre-taped video, Mullenix made a special announcement at the wedding reception to reveal her pregnancy to her groom. He was completely taken by surprise, in the best way possible—and he wasn’t the only one.

Overjoyed, the bride’s mother ran over to the newly-weds with tears streaming down her face, prompting the three to share a special embrace. “I was the most nervous/terrified I have ever been in my whole life. Momma was too shocked to put her plate down,” Mullenix laughingly says in an Instagram post, where she shared a video of the emotional moment.

The clip also captures her daughter moments after the announcement is made. Her reaction? Priceless. While Mullenix’s pregnancy came as a surprise to most guests at the wedding, her daughter was in on the secret the whole time.

“I posted the full announcement video that me and my daughter made a couple of weeks ago…Special thanks to my baby girl for keeping that secret for two full weeks,” the bride says.

Her guests—and the thousands of Instagram users who’ve watched the heartwarming moment—showered the happy couple with well wishes.

“Oh my goodness!! Tears!! This is so beautiful!! Congratulations!!!” says one Instagram follower.
