Love Bluey? the Popular Show Just Launched Its First-Ever Mobile Game
The team behind everyone’s favorite children’s show Bluey has created the first-ever Bluey game app. A partnership between Budge Studios and BBC, Bluey: Let’s Play launched on August 15 and features a story-driven interactive gaming experience where kids can make food in Bluey’s kitchen, play with toys, create music and interact with the Heeler family in a variety of ways.
Bluey: Let’s Play is free and available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Music. This free version gives free access to locations such as the kitchen and backyard, as well as characters like Bingo and Bluey. Beyond the basics, there is a paid level that gives more access to characters and locations like the living room, playroom, and bathroom.
“We’re very excited to be bringing the official Bluey mobile app game to our audiences across the globe. The whole family will love seeing the Bluey Heeler home come alive in this exciting interactive game while having the chance to explore the fun world of Bluey,” Henrietta Hurford-Jones, commissioner and executive producer of Bluey for BBC Studios Kids & Family, said in a statement.
The new game comes not long after the team behind Bluey announced they would be taking a short hiatus after the current season. “We are just going to get our heads on a bit, it’s been four or five years and we’ve made 154 episodes, it is kind of unprecedented to do that back-to-back,” producer Daly Pearson explained in an interview with The Courier Mail.
“It was very intense…we are just coming to the end of season three and trying to think about what’s the best way to make it better. We have all secretly agreed with each other that we wouldn’t keep making Bluey if it wasn’t as good as the one that came before, so we want to make sure we keep doing that,” he added.
The latest development from the Bluey universe is sure to be a hit. Visit your phone or tablet app store to download Bluey: Let’s Play now.
